Updated on 7/20/20:

COVID-19 protocols are still in place. Due to this, we have been receiving an increased volume of phone calls for clients trying to check-in/schedule appointments.

In order to help streamline the check-in process and help ease the volume of calls on our four phone lines, we can now utilize the chat feature on our app for appointment check-ins!

Prior to Your Appointment:

  • In order to more efficiently serve you, we ask that you fill this questionnaire out prior to your appointment.
  • Download our free app prior to your appointment time.

When You Arrive for Your Appointment:

  • Use the app to send us a chat that you have arrived, what room number your appointment is scheduled in, and what vehicle you are in.
  • If you prefer, you can call to check-in, but if all the phone lines are currently busy you will have to hang up and call again until you get through.
  • An assistant will come to your car shortly for finish the check-in process and take your pet inside for the appointment.

We appreciate your patience with us as we work to streamline the check-in process.

  • All dogs must be leashed and all cats must be in carriers for transport.
  • We will call you to further discuss your pet's treatment plan.
  • Payment can be done over the phone or with our mobile card reader.
  • All food/prescriptions orders will be done at the carport and we will bring everything to you.

We appreciate your continued patience and understanding. We will continue to update you as Governor Little/CDC/WHO recommendations change.

Updated on 5/14/20:

In compliance with Governor Little's Nationally Recognized State Opening Phase plans:

  • We are currently back to scheduling regular preventative care appointments in addition to urgent/emergency appointments.
  • We are still only allowing essential staff into the building and following recommended CDC/WHO recommendations for social distancing and wearing appropriate PPE.
  • We are still asking you to fill out the appointment questionnaire in the link below prior to your appointment time.

As the state continues its phases of reopening, we will also update our protocols and list them here, as well on our social media platforms.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation.

In response to the current pandemic we are closely monitoring the situation and abiding by the protocols recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization. Current Hospital Protocols:

Now that Idaho is officially under a Stay-at-Home Order, we will be enforcing the following protocols to better provide both staff and clients with a safe environment to bring their pets:

  • We ARE OPEN but will still only continue to see urgent/emergency appointments in order to comply with WHO/CDC recommendations and to preserve our medical supplies. We anticipate we will see a shortage of medical supplies due to the demand by human healthcare professionals in response to COVID-19.
    • If you are not certain if your situation is an emergency, please give us a call and review the following guidelines:

AVMA Animal Emergency Guidelines

  • Due to the nature of urgent/emergency appointments, and having less staff scheduled, wait times may be longer than normal.
    • Life threatening emergencies will be given first priority.
  • We will no longer be allowing ANYONE in the building except for essential staff.
  • When you arrive for your appointment, please remain in your car. A trained veterinary technician or assistant will come out to collect pertinent information for the appointment and escort your pet into the building.

We are doing our best to closely monitor all of our media platforms including social/messaging/email platforms and will get back to any questions/concerns you have in a timely fashion.
